Dear Colleagues and Friends in Sport,

It is a particular honour and pleasure that we are once again together, as you attend the finals of the 12^th USPE European Police Volleyball Championship for Men, organized by the European Police Sports Union and the Sports Association of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior.

Our organization is an active member of the Union and takes an active part in the championships and events of its Sports Calendar.

Throughout its history, our Sports Association has organized 6 (six) European championships in team and individual competitions. During our most recent hosting in 2024, we welcomed nearly 220 participants from 17 countries at the Judo Championship. We are delighted to once again offer our hospitality, friendship, and capabilities as hosts — this time for the Men’s Volleyball Championship.

I would like to thank all 11 countries that expressed their wish to participate. Of these, 6 took part in the preliminary qualifying rounds. This is truly inspiring, and I extend my sincere gratitude for it.

The trust placed in us to organize and hold this attractive sporting event is a mark of the high regard for the work of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria, and in particular of the Sports Association of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior, in developing sport among police officers at both national and international level, and in promoting and encouraging an active and healthy way of life.
